The 6th Goseong Eagle Ecological Festival

Goseong County will host the 6th Goseong Eagle Ecological Festival on December 6th and 7th in Giwol-ri, Goseong-eup. This festival aims to introduce the winter migratory bird habitat of eagles and raise awareness of the importance of their conservation. This year's festival will feature a "Mongolian Day" event, offering visitors a chance to experience Mongolian culture, the home of eagles. Participants will enjoy a variety of programs, including traditional Mongolian cuisine, sweets, and snacks, traditional costume experience, and ger-making. The opening ceremony will also feature a performance by the Mongolian National University of Arts and Culture. Beyond eagle-watching, the festival will also offer opportunities for cultural exchange with Mongolia and reflection on the importance of ecological conservation amidst the natural environment of the winter fields.
