Event Introduction
Busan's signature winter festival, the "2025 Gwangbok-ro Winter Light Tree Festival," will be held in a spectacular setting under the theme of "K-Nuri (From Liberation to the World)." The festival will run for 80 days, from December 5, 2025, to February 22, 2026, along Gwangbok-ro and Sanbok-ro. This festival will showcase unique light sculptures utilizing K-content, offering domestic and international tourists the joy of Busan's signature winter festival. Key programs include the Gwangbok-ro Winter Light Concert, Christmas experience programs, a K-Nuri costume event, and a citizen-participatory lighting performance. Anamorphic video content will be used on the City Spot Main Tree, further enriching the experience. Furthermore, the "Sanbok Sky Light Street" will be created along Sanbok-ro, offering a captivating winter evening experience with views of Busan Port and the city at night. Various light sculptures will be installed from Hyegwang High School to the Yeongju-dong Sky Observatory, where a lighting ceremony for the "Sanbok Sky Street of Light" will be held. Busking performances by Busan local musicians will also be held during the festival.
