Oncheoncheon Light Festival

The 3rd Oncheoncheon Light Festival, beautifully illuminating the winter of Dongnae-gu, Busan, will be held from December 19, 2025, to February 1, 2026, along the Oncheoncheon River. Colorful light installations will span a 1.1-kilometer stretch, offering a special nighttime spectacle. The lights will be lit daily from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM. This year, new features, such as a media wish writing event and lantern installations, have been added to enrich the festival's appeal. The festival is divided into six themed zones: "Prelude to Light," "Song of the Seasons," "Fantasy," "Oncheoncheon Love Song," "Delicious Harmony," and "Song of the Lanterns," offering a diverse array of attractions. A food truck zone will also be available for visitors to enjoy a variety of culinary delights. The lighting ceremony, marking the start of the festival, will be held at 5:00 PM on December 19th in front of Suan Elementary School in Oncheoncheon.
