2025 Ansan Winter Light Kingdom

Ansan City will host the "2025 Ansan Winter Light Kingdom," a winter night festival, from December 7, 2025, to January 31, 2026, at Ansan Culture Plaza in Gojan-dong. This festival aims to illuminate the Culture Plaza with dazzling lights, presenting a beautiful winter landscape for citizens and tourists and revitalizing the stagnant local economy. Light sculptures and photo zones will be installed along a 1km stretch from "Water Plaza" to "Gallery Plaza" within Ansan Culture Plaza, creating unforgettable winter memories. Key programs include an opening lighting ceremony, performances by the Ansan City Choir, performances by singer Horim and Hot Circus Artnable, a carousel (operating on December weekends and Christmas, for a fee), experience programs, special performances, a snow show (every Saturday, Sunday, and Christmas), a wish box, and floor curling. After the carousel closes, a new light sculpture commemorating the 40th anniversary of Ansan City's elevation to status will be installed. It is open daily from 5pm to 11pm during the festival period and is open to the public.
