Open Port Christmas: Firefly (Open Port Christmas)

The Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade, held annually in December, features lavishly decorated boats lining the harbor. In 2025, the parade will run from 9 to 11 days in mid-December, starting around 6:45 PM each evening, with the main show beginning at 7 PM. The parade begins at Lido Island, and there are free viewing areas along the waterfront. Boat cruises are also available for an up-close view. The parade features a variety of events and attractions, including a viewing of the houses decorated with the "Ring of Lights." It's recommended to dress warmly for the cold weather and arrive early to secure parking.
