Seoul Botanic Park's Special Exhibition: Our Nature, Planetary Coexistence: Special Docent Presentation [The Red Side of Emotion]

The Seoul Botanic Park presents a new perspective and viewpoint on nature through its 2025 special exhibition, "Our Nature, Planetary Coexistence." The special docent program, "The Red Side of Emotion," is a participatory experience that allows visitors to coexist with the artworks. The program will be held in one of the four sections, "Section 2: The Garden of Entanglement." After listening to the commentary and appreciating the artworks, participants will travel to the greenhouse to record their own experiences and personally experience the meaning of planetary coexistence. This process, a space where artistic sensibility and ecological thinking converge, offers an opportunity to appreciate the artworks coexisting with nature at the Seoul Botanic Park and explore and expand upon them in their own unique ways. A special docent program, taking place on Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM, will explore the emotions and meaning evoked by the color red while appreciating the work of artist Choi Seong-im. Participants will also have the opportunity to visually and verbally express their individual sensibilities through Polaroid photography and writing. The completed writings will be delivered to Choi Seong-im. Since the event is held in a paid space (greenhouse), you must purchase a separate ticket at the greenhouse ticket booth.
