To commemorate the Korea-Canada Year of Cultural Exchange, the Seoul Museum of History presents a special exhibition, [BURTYNSKY: EXTRACTION / ABSTRACTION]. Presenting world-renowned photographer Edward Burtynsky's work spanning over 40 years for the first time in Asia, this exhibition captures the traces of human desire on nature through abstract aesthetics. Through the process of industrial extraction, it encourages profound reflection on the restructuring of nature and attempts to engage citizens on urban issues.
