The Dandan Dan Festival was planned to provide creative opportunities for artists from Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province and the region, focusing on the traditional culture of Gangwon-do, based on our cultural heritage, and to promote the expansion of cultural enjoyment for local residents and revitalize the local tourism industry. The Gangneung Danoje Committee is striving to develop the Gangneung Danoje into a high-quality performing arts festival based on its know-how accumulated through many years of hosting.
