Ended Han River Basin Walking Event

In 2024, walking events will be held in key locations across the Han River basin, connecting people with the river in even more diverse regions: Yeouido in Seoul; Pocheon in Gyeonggi Province; Gapyeong in Gyeonggi Province; Chungju in North Chungcheong Province; Yeoju in Gyeonggi Province; Chuncheon in Gangwon Province; and Seoul Forest. Participants will receive generous souvenirs and completion medals. Each route will also include specialized programs that blend with the local nature, allowing participants to experience diverse cultural and ecological values firsthand. Participants will also become members of the Han River Basin Expedition Team. The team will walk along the Han River's waterways in each region, savoring the rich autumn atmosphere and documenting the river's ecological value and significance through photos and videos, which will then be shared widely on social media. This will be a valuable opportunity to share the beauty of the Han River with others and foster social awareness of nature, thereby contributing to a sustainable future for the Han River. This walk is not simply a movement; it is a sustainable journey that connects people with nature and leads to action. We await the participation of everyone who walks along the breath of the Han River, listens to the message it conveys, and takes steps toward the future.
